About

Building Bridges Across Continents

I’m Nissankara Venkkat Prannit, a Munich-based community leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in cultural diplomacy, social integration, and public engagement. As the founder of IndoEuropean.eu, I have built one of the largest networking platforms for Indians living in Europe, driven by the conviction that our community deserves a seamless transition into their new lives abroad.

At 28, I took on the responsibility of Founder President of the Mana Telugu Association (MATA) Germany. My primary goal was the consolidation of our vibrant community across Germany's major power centers: Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf. By unifying these regional chapters, we created a powerhouse of cultural preservation.

Over the last 18 years, I have helped facilitate more than 150 sports events, including our flagship tournaments: the India Cup, Bavaria Cup, and Bharat Cup. These arenas are where the diaspora truly connects, transcending professional titles to build lifelong friendships. Similarly, our cultural calendar—spanning Diwali, Holi, Iftar, Ugadi, and Sankranti—serves as a showcase for classical arts and education, ensuring our traditions are not just remembered, but celebrated with the wider European public.

My work in bridging these two worlds was recognized at the Belgian Parliament, where I received the prestigious Under-40 Award (2020 class of Europe-India 40 Leaders). The selection honored leadership within the diaspora context, and this recognition has significantly boosted my ability to foster collaborations between Indian grassroots organizations and European policymakers.
